The stock market made a followthrough day on March 16.
This is ONE of the market health indicators I wait for after a decline. It’s often one of the first signals to start nibbling at long positions. The other health indicators remain in poor shape, but are recovering. As more of those health indicators improve, I allocate more capital to swing trades.
In other words, in these conditions, I’m willing to allocate some of my capital to long swing trades that set-up nicely, but not of all of it…yet.
A full market health update is published on the weekends and sent out in the free Weekend Trading Newsletter.
With that said, here’s what I am watching over the next week.
US Swing Trading Stock Watchlist
This a not a buy list. It’s stocks I’m watching because they have the potential to form a contraction/triangle pattern. I watch for these stocks to form valid entries based on the strategy.
This strategy and others are covered more in-depth in the Complete Method Stock Swing Trading Course, including how to scan and find trades.

174 Stocks met the scan criteria. Manually narrowed to these.
GDEN – flat since last June, though. Hmm.
CLR – angled up
BCC – watching now but want it to continue tightening up. That was a big earnings drop (and recovery).
AQUA – half cup
KZR – half cup
CNXC – Add to list on March 19
HBP – Added to list on March 20
BXC (since Feb 23) – Added to list on March 20
Canadian Swing Trading Stock Watchlist
96 stocks on the list. Narrowed to those below.
Had a bunch of breakouts the last couple of weeks, so the list is currently a little sparse.

HME.V – Trade in early Feb. Hit target, Contracted. Setting up again. Angled up.
FL.V
ALCU.CN – Added to list on March 20. Low volume.
